MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES — The Current, Canvas

A figure moves through turquoise Mediterranean water as gold light stretches towards the horizon. The Current holds both motion and surrender.

MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES — The Current explores the emotional force of water, where movement, sunlight, and the body become part of the same atmosphere.

Set within the open Mediterranean sea, the work captures a figure moving through shifting water as the sun lowers across the horizon. Gold light breaks across the surface, meeting deep turquoise, blue, and green tones beneath her body. The sea is not background here — it carries the composition, the movement, and the feeling of release.

Its luminous water and shifting reflections give interiors a more fluid, open-hearted atmosphere.
