MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES — The Shore explores the quiet boundary between land and sea.
A lone figure moves along the water's edge as the evening sky unfolds in layers of violet, amber, gold, and rose. Reflections stretch across wet sand while the coastline recedes into distance, creating a sense of scale beyond the immediate scene.
The sea remains calm. The horizon remains open. The figure becomes part of the landscape rather than separate from it.
Built through atmosphere, reflection, and light, the work draws from contemporary Mediterranean figurative painting traditions where place carries as much emotional weight as the figure itself.
What remains is stillness.
The feeling of standing between what has passed and what remains possible.
A place that asks nothing from you except presence.
