The work
MEDITERRANEAN STUDIES — The Garden explores the feeling of discovering a place untouched by urgency.
Stone pathways move quietly through flowering terraces overlooking the Mediterranean coast. Bougainvillea, jasmine, lavender, citrus trees, and weathered vessels create a landscape built through colour, fragrance, and light.
The sea remains present beyond the garden walls. The architecture frames the experience rather than dominating it.
The figure moves slowly through the terraces, becoming part of the landscape itself.
Built through atmosphere, colour, and light, the work draws from contemporary Mediterranean figurative painting traditions where place carries as much emotional weight as the figure.
What remains is abundance.
