THE LISTENING captures the private act of turning inward. A sculptural ivory profile is held beside a flowing petrol-blue form, with oxblood and muted ochre accents introducing depth and tension. On the reverse, a quiet instruction remains:
trust the quiet.
Printed on substantial black cotton, the tote carries the visual presence of a small figurative study while remaining practical for considered everyday use.

The Artwork
The front presents a simplified female profile in warm ivory, framed by a flowing petrol-blue form. A deep oxblood listening point interrupts the composition, while a restrained ochre accent anchors the shoulder.
The reverse carries the affirmation “trust the quiet.” in small warm-ivory serif typography, accompanied by a single oxblood dot.
The black cotton remains visible throughout the composition, becoming the negative space surrounding the artwork rather than functioning as a printed background.

Machine wash warm at a maximum of 40°C / 105°F. Wash inside out with similar colours.
Tumble dry on a low setting.

Black Fabric
The black cotton surface may contain subtle tonal and fibre variations. These are inherent characteristics of the material rather than defects.
The visible black areas within and around the composition are created by the underlying fabric, allowing the tote itself to become part of the artwork.
