STILLNESS, HELD I — Standing is a portrait of a woman who has turned completely away.
No face. No expression to read, no gaze to meet. Only the line of her back, the fall of sheer fabric to the floor, and the particular stillness of someone who has gone fully inward.
The palette is almost without colour — warm stone, pale linen, skin that barely separates from the background. The figure doesn’t stand out from the room so much as emerge from it. Slowly. Quietly. On her own terms.
There is nothing to decode here. No narrative, no moment of tension or release. Just the steady presence of a woman at rest inside herself — and the rare, grounding quality that brings to a space.
